Our role
For most flights, hotels, cruises, car rentals and third-party tours, Caricay acts as a booking agent connecting you with the supplier that actually provides the travel service. For Caricay-organised packages and experiences, Caricay may act as the principal operator. In either case, the specific supplier's own conditions of carriage/service apply alongside these terms.
Bookings and pricing
A booking is confirmed only once you receive a written confirmation with a Caricay reference number and, where payment is required, once that payment has been processed. Prices are quoted in the currency shown at checkout and may change before a booking is confirmed due to supplier pricing, currency movements or availability; confirmed bookings are not affected by later price changes.
Payment
Payments are processed through our payment gateway; Caricay does not store full card details. A booking balance, where applicable, is due by the date shown on your invoice. Failure to pay a balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking under the relevant supplier's policy.
Traveller information and documents
You are responsible for ensuring names on a booking exactly match the relevant travel document, and for holding valid passports, visas and any other documents required for your itinerary. Caricay's visa, study-abroad and work-permit assistance services provide guidance and case support but cannot guarantee approval by the relevant government authority.
Changes and cancellations
Changes and cancellations are subject to the applicable supplier's conditions, which may include change fees or non-refundable amounts, in addition to Caricay's own cancellation terms set out in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Schedule changes and force majeure
Airlines, hotels, cruise lines and other suppliers may change schedules or availability after booking. Caricay will pass on supplier-initiated changes as soon as we are notified. Neither Caricay nor its suppliers are responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events outside reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, strikes, government action or public health emergencies.
Liability
Caricay is not liable for the acts, omissions or default of independent suppliers (airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, insurers) beyond the extent required by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Sample content
Where any inventory, pricing or availability on this website is clearly marked as sample or demonstration content, it does not represent confirmed real-world availability and cannot be booked until replaced with verified supplier or Caricay-managed inventory.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Barbados, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence.
